ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance)

At Lalbaba Engineering Limited, sustainability is at the core of our operations. We are committed to complying with applicable environmental, health and safety regulations and other requirements in our business operations.

Renewable Energy

We have installed a 2.5 MW rooftop solar PV facility at our Haldia Facility, reducing our dependence on conventional energy sources and lowering our carbon footprint.

Green Manufacturing Upgrades

In Fiscal 2023, we commissioned two continuous induction forging furnaces at our Uluberia Facility. These advanced furnaces improve product quality and consistency while contributing to a greener, cleaner manufacturing process by eliminating fossil fuel combustion — resulting in zero direct emissions, soot, or smoke. The technology further delivers higher energy efficiency, lower material waste, and a safer workplace, especially when powered by renewable energy.

Water & Waste Management

We operate a zero-liquid-discharge effluent plant that treats and recycles process chemicals.

Employee & Community Wellbeing

A 24×7 on-site ambulance is stationed at our facilities to provide emergency medical support for both employees and the neighbouring communities.
