Mr. Kishan Dhanuka
Chairman & Managing Director

Mr. Kishan Dhanuka, a commerce graduate from the University of Calcutta, leads Lalbaba’s strategy, expansions, operations, and overall management. He joined the Board of Lalbaba on November 28, 2006. With over 39 years of experience in heavy manufacturing, engineering, forging, rail systems, and related services, he continues to guide Lalbaba’s growth and long-term vision.

Mr. Nikunj Dhanuka
Whole-Time Director

Mr. Nikunj Dhanuka, a graduate in mechanical engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, leads Lalbaba’s technical innovation and marketing efforts. He joined the Board on September 5, 2019, and was instrumental in conceptualising and implementing Uniflow™, Lalbaba’s continuous cold drawing technology at the Haldia facility. He also serves as Director at Swamiji Transmission Private Limited and LBIC Engineering Private Limited, bringing over nine years of expertise in manufacturing, engineering, and forging.

Mr. Nishit Dhanuka
Whole-Time Director

Mr. Nishit Dhanuka oversees Lalbaba’s accounts, finance, banking, marketing, and branding functions. He holds a post-graduate diploma in management from IIM Lucknow and became part of Lalbaba’s Board on June 30, 2023. He brings over eight years of experience in manufacturing, finance, and management.

Mr. Amit Dhanuka
Whole-Time Director

Mr. Amit Dhanuka holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Calcutta and brings over 27 years of experience in manufacturing, the food sector, and global exports. He became a member of Lalbaba’s Board on December 26, 2023, and is responsible for driving domestic and international growth strategies, fostering innovation in railway wagon components and CDS tube manufacturing, and overseeing the operations of Lalbaba’s joint venture, Indodeutsche Precision Tubes Private Limited

Dr. Dharmendra Singh Gangwar
Independent Director

Mr. Dharmendra Singh Gangwar has been an Independent Director of Lalbaba since July 3, 2025. He holds a bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery from King George’s Medical College, Lucknow. He served as Secretary (Border Management), Ministry of Home Affairs, from December 6, 2021, to July 30, 2023, and has over 33 years of experience in the Indian Administrative Services.

Mr. Sanjay Khare
Independent Director

Mr. Sanjay Khare has been an Independent Director of Lalbaba since July 3, 2025. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from IIT Kanpur and a post-graduate diploma in executive management from MDI Gurgaon. He is a visiting professor at IIT Kanpur and has previously worked with Maruti Suzuki, Volkswagen India, and Skoda AUTO Volkswagen India, with over 38 years of experience in product design, production, maintenance, and electronics in the automotive sector.

Mr. Anil Kumar Chaudhary
Independent Director

Mr. Anil Kumar Chaudhary has been an Independent Director of Lalbaba since July 3, 2025. He holds bachelor’s degrees in commerce (honours) and law, and a post-graduate diploma in personnel management, all from the University of Delhi. He is an associate of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (1984) and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (1989). He has previously served as Chairman of Steel Authority of India Limited and Group CEO – Metals & Mining at Essar Steel Limited, with over 36 years of experience in finance and accounting.

Ms. Sucharita Basu
Independent Director

Ms. Sucharita Basu De has been an Independent Director of Lalbaba since July 3, 2025. She holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Calcutta and was admitted to the Bar Council of West Bengal in 2001. She is the founder of Aquilaw and was previously associated with Khaitan Co & LLP, with over 19 years of experience in legal advisory services.

Mr. Neeraj Sureka
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Neeraj Sureka has been with Lalbaba since November 2024 and oversees all finance functions of the Company. He is a fellow member of ICAI and a qualified cost and management accountant with over two decades of experience, previously associated with Rupa & Company and Shapoorji Pallonji.
Mr. Anatha B Chakrabartty
Company Secretary & Compliance Officer
Mr. Chakrabartty joined Lalbaba in June 2025 and leads secretarial, compliance, and governance functions. He is a fellow member of ICSI with over 15 years of experience and has previously held senior roles in multiple listed companies.
Mr. Deepak Kumar Chaudhary
Chief Strategy Officer
Mr. Chaudhary has been associated with Lalbaba since 2019 and was appointed CSO in May 2025. He advises the management on partnerships, joint ventures, acquisitions, and due diligence, drawing on over 37 years of experience as a chartered accountant.
Mr. Abhijit Vijaykumar Paliya
Executive Vice President, Technology
Mr. Paliya has been with Lalbaba since 2021 and was instrumental in leading operations at the Haldia facility. He holds a mechanical engineering degree and an MBA and brings over 13 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, and operational management.
Mr. Raj Narayan Bose
Senior Vice President, Projects
Mr. Bose joined Lalbaba in 2023 and heads capital expenditure and project management. He holds a mechanical engineering degree and has over 23 years of experience in engineering, projects, and procurement across reputed industrial organizations.
Mr. Dinbandhu Kumar Nayak
Vice President, Supply Chain Management
Mr. Nayak joined Lalbaba in 2024 and oversees procurement, supply chain, and stores management. He holds engineering and MBA degrees and brings 23 years of experience in procurement, product development, and operations management across multiple sectors.
Mr. Arun Kumar Singh
Vice President, Human Resources & Industrial Relations
Mr. Arun Kumar Singh has been associated with Lalbaba since 2024 and heads HR and industrial relations functions. He holds a mechanical engineering degree and has completed executive programs in talent management and general management, with over 22 years of HR leadership experience.
