Lalbaba Group comprises a group of heavy engineering business verticals with more than 60 years of legacy in the domestic and export market. In addition to catering to the demands of Indian Railways and other PSUs like IOCL, BPCL, Braithwaite, etc., we extend our Engineering products & solutions to US, Europe, Africa, and Middle East countries in the area of Seamless Tubes, Brake Systems, Couplers, Forging items to affirm our presence. With continuous expansion and innovation through concentric diversifications, we have emerged as a key player in certain engineering solutions with the help of an extremely dynamic team spread across the globe.
Our History
Growing with every step
The Lalbaba Group was founded in 1961 by Mr. Murari Lal Dhanuka in Howrah which was the heart of Melting and Processing units of ferrous-based industries in erstwhile India, by setting up a small pneumatic forging and fabrication unit. In a true sense, he started it from scratch. But his quest and untiring efforts to set an example of excellence have elevated the group to a leading position as a preferred supplier for Indian Railways (IR) as well as OEMs. Today, the group has in its fold multiple manufacturing facilities spread over the entire Industrial belt in the state of West Bengal, India. The versatile range of products manufactured by the LBIC Engineering Group has earned the group a unique place in the MSME sector in the state of West Bengal. The products of the group are extensively used in Railways, Automobile Sector, Power Sectors, Oil & Gas, etc. The Group has recently started undertaking project work in the Railway Sector for upgrading Rolling Stock at customer sites.
