Lalbaba Projects
The Lalbaba Projects Pvt. Ltd. has dedicated unit for retro fitment, repair as well as refurbishment of Railway Rolling Stock.
Project Executed:
- Complete furnishing work on 6 DEMU rakes for South-Eastern Railway.
- Twin pipe conversion work on 1000+ LHB coaches of South-Eastern Railway and Eastern railway.
- Completed Twin pipe conversion work for 1,00,000+ plus Freight wagons at more than 30 locations of Indian Railways.
- Twin Pipe conversion work has also been executed for various container Train operators and other private companies owning Railway Rolling Stock.
- Undertaking conversion of ICF makes passenger coaches to NMG & NMGHS Coaches for carrying passenger vehicles and other items.
- Developing capabilities to undertake ROH and POH on Wagons for private operators.
The Lalbaba Projects Pvt. Ltd
The group has been awarded with contracts, by the Zonal Railways to supply and commission the Brake system to Twin-Pipe on 100,000 Railway wagons. Accordingly, the group has developed a dedicated workforce of more than 300 technicians and supervisors, to work very closely with all the Zonal Railways at their Workshop and Maintenance depots in Railway yards, all the materials required are sent in a kit form to the sites from plants in Howrah.
The group has now started working with Container Train Operators and other Private sector entities owning wagons. We are thus providing our customers “end-to-end” solutions to convert and upgrade their wagon fleet according to their requirement and ensuring liaising with local Railway authorities for providing a seamless service and least detention to their fleet. We are also developing capabilities to undertake ROH and POH on Wagons for private operators (subject to regulatory approval from Indian Railway.
